The Centre for Transnational and Transcultural Research (CTTR) presents a Computational Literary Studies UK (CLSUK) online seminar on the topic of authorship attribution, presented by Jan Rybicki and Nikola Krisztian Czindrity. Friday 4th April 2025 15:00-17:00 (BST). All welcome.
Professor Jan Rybicki (Jagiellonian University, Poland) will present 'Authors can run but they can't hide', exploring how statistical methods to find individual writers' use of very frequent words can be used to classify texts by author.
Nikola Krisztian Czindrity is a graduate student in Digital Humanities and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Vienna, and will present 'Beyond Snorri: Stylometric Clues to the Authorship of Egils saga within the Corpus of Old Icelandic Family Sagas'
