Dawn is a Reader in the School of English, Communication and Philosophy at Cardiff University. She was the Principal Investigator for 'CorCenCC: Corpws Cenedlaethol Cymraeg Cyfoes (The National Corpus of Contemporary Welsh): A community driven approach to linguistic corpus construction', and currently Chair of BAAL (British Associaion for Applied Linguistics (2018-2021).
