School of Humanities

Researchers in the School of Humanities have led several corpus projects with funding from the ESRC and the AHRC. The Department has a particular interest in creating and using electronic resources for the study of academic discourse, and engage regularly in training for the sector, under the auspices of the British Association for Applied Linguistics (BAAL) Corpus Linguistics Special Interest Group.
